Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have worked together on many different projects including co-hosting The CMA Awards for five years in a row. The two of them even won the ACA trophy for Single of the Year: Vocal Collaboration for the song, "Remind Me," on Monday night's show. But even though they work well together, Brad makes sure that he teases Carrie as if she were his little sister. Paisley released the video for his current single, "Southern Comfort Zone," on Monday and after the video wrapped up, he answered some of his fan's questions on a live chat. The video was filmed in eight different countries and features him playing guitar next to a Maasai giraffe. When Brad was asked about how it was working with the animal, he couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a shot at Underwood. Paisley said, "That giraffe was very professional. His name, I think, was Congo. He was way better than working with Carrie Underwood. I'll tell you that. He didn't ever sort of talk back. He didn't ever sort of make a fool of me. Even if he had kicked me, it would be still better than working with Carrie Underwood."

Last night the American Country Awards took place at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. The show was hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristen Chenoweth and there were performances by some of country music's hottest stars. Luke Bryan kicked off the show with his performance of, "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye." When the hosts took the stage, Trace was carrying Kristen in a baby sling. After Chenoweth got out of the sling, Adkins then mentioned that Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott was expecting a baby and called her up to give her the sling. Scott walked up to the stage from her seat and accepted the oversized baby-sling graciously.  Trace took a break from his hosting duties and performed, "What's Your Name," with the legendary rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd. At one point, Chenoweth dressed up like the reality show star Honey Boo Boo and joined her co-host on stage. The magicians Penn and Teller joined Lauren Alaina on stage to present the award for Single of the Year: Female and they used a magic trick and Trace's hat to reveal the winner. They put cards with the nominees into the host's hat and the winning card with Miranda Lambert's name on it appeared to levitate out of the hat. Keith Urban took the stage with seven of the talented kids from the Grammy Foundation's "Grammy Camp" and they performed, "Crossroads." The night closed with Kristen coming out on stage dressed up like Santa Claus while Adkins was dressed in an elf outfit as they introduced Lady A, who performed a Christmas song from their, On This Winter's Night, album. Luke had the biggest night taking home nine trophies including the top prize Artist of the Year.

A former employee of Zac Brown is suing him and his business for copyright and trademark infringement along with unsafe/unfair work conditions. The man's name is Klye Landas and he's asking for a permanent injunction against all merchandise bearing the Unity Tree design, the recall of all products bearing the logo, seizure and impoundment of all merchandise bearing the design that’s still in Zac Brown’s control, and all of the profits derived from sales of merchandise bearing the design. He's asking for $150,000 which really doesn't seem like much when talking with the Superstar!

The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! got underway last night in Nashville to reveal the nominees for The 55^th annual Grammy Awards that will be held on February 10. The event was hosted by Taylor Swift and LL Cool J and there were appearances and performances from some of the biggest stars in all genres. The two host got things started in style with Taylor evoking her T-Swizzle side and attempting to beat-box while LL sang her song, "Mean." Swift said once the unique duet was finished, "I'm, like, 100 percent sure we won't be nominated for that collaboration." The Band Perry and Dierks Bentley then took the center stage to honor the legacy of the legendary Johnny Cash with a rendition of his Grammy-winning song, "Jackson." Hunter Hayes was one hand to announce the nominees for Best Pop Vocal Album category, but instead of announcing their names he sang parts of their songs starting with a clip from Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger." Sheryl Crow then joined Chris Young to announce the nominees for the Record of the Year category. The crowd was pumped up and full of energy when Luke Bryan took the stage and gave a stunning performance of his, "I Don't Want This Night To End." Hunter had a big night with three nominations including a nod in the all-genre Best New Artist category. Taylor was also nominated for Record of the Year for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
