Well, with football season done and over with for the Hens, it's time to switch the focus over to the Bob Carpenter Center with the Men's and Women's Basketball Season. 

The Men picked up their first win of the season Tuesday night against Cornell.  This weekend, they'll face Lafayette at home on Saturday.  Opening tip is at 2 with Blue Hen Gameday starting at 2:30 on 94.7 WDSD or online.

The Women have been on fire since the very beginning.  On a 3 game win streak, they will head up to St. Bonaventure on Sunday for a 1 pm tip (note the time change).  You can hear that game on 1290 The Ticket and 1410 WDOV beginning with Blue Hen Gameday at 12:30.  That game can also be heard online.

Wow.  What a great season it was.  The Blue Hens did what they needed to do on Saturday by beating Villanova 26-16 in the season finally to try and get into the playoffs.  Unfortunately though, it just wasn't enough.  It was still an excellent season for the Hens and there is a lot to talk about.  We want to hear from you though.  Let us know your impression of the season by emailing us at udfootball@wdsd.com.

Delaware defeated Richmond on Saturday afternoon 24-10.  Once again, the running game was the feature.  Andrew Pierce picked up 215 yards on the ground to get the Hens the win.  This weekend, the Blue Hens will travel up to PP&L Park to face Villanova for the last game of the regular season.  With a win, Delaware increases its chances to get into the playoffs.  With a loss, they'll have to start looking forward to next season.  This week's game will be at 3:30 with Blue Hen Gameday on at 2:30.  Catch all the action on 94.7 WDSD!
