MELISSA

Hello, my name is Melissa. I am about 3-5 years old. I came in from a very bad situation. The staff here has tried to help me come out of my shell. I am shy and walk really low to the ground when I am on the leash. I just want your love and affection. I would really love to find a home that can help me adjust to being a pet. I will need to be either an ONLY DOG or have a strong handler with a dominate dog, that will put me in my place. I tend to be a little cranky with other dogs, due to the situation that I came from. It was never my intention on being this way and would love to have someone train me and help me over come this. Please consider taking home with you for the chance at being an actual pet. I would say second chance at a better life but after what I have gone thro this is the first chance at a wonderful life.
